Pictures of Iqbal in Europe Centenary Conference

Pictures of the conference that took place in London and Cambridge in June 2008 can be found on the website now.

The conference marked one hundred years since Iqbal completed his studies in Europe, and was themed around the dissertation he submitted at Munich in 1907, The Development of Metaphysics in Persia. The London day was held at the Khalili Lecture Theatre, SOAS, on 17 June, with a second leg at Trinity College, Cambridge — the college where Iqbal read for his degree, and where the Academy installed Gulgee's portrait of him in 1993.
